Catalog description
The clinical portion of the course which provides training in the emergency care of the sick and injured. The course includes didactic, practical, and off-campus experiences. Those completing the course are eligible to take the National Registry examination to become registered and licensed as an EMT. Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in ENG 080 and ENG 090 or appropriate placement score into ENG 101. Corequisite: EMS 110
