Catalog description

An introduction to how prices are determined. Topics include how prices are set in markets of varying degrees of competition; how income is determined: wages and salaries, rent, interest, and profits; unions; environmental problems; wealth and poverty in the United States of America; and non-market economic systems. Prerequisite: MTH 080, MTH 094, MTH 102, minimum grade C or placement scores into MTH 110 MOTR ECON 102
