Intro to Chemistry

Catalog description

An introduction to the basic principles of chemistry, including inorganic, analytical, physical, and organic chemistry. The lab is an introduction to the basic laboratory techniques of chemistry, including an investigation in physical and chemical properties, nomenclature of inorganic and organic compounds, principles of acid-base theory, stoichiometry of chemical equations, and behavior of substances in different phases and as mixtures. Prerequisite: Minimum grade C in MTH*094 or appropriate placement into MTH*110. Appropriate placement into ENG*101. MOTR CHEM 100L
