Medical Surgical Caring Practical Nursing Skills Lab II

Catalog description

This lab-based course provides practical nursing students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge and develop core clinical competencies in a simulated environment. Students will practice essential skills, enhance critical thinking, and demonstrate safe, ethical, and patient-centered care in preparation for medical-surgical clinical placements. The concepts of Watson’s Caring Science and Human Caring Theory, and Quality and Safety in Education Nurses (QSEN) will be utilized throughout this course.
