WDLI 451W is an advanced literature course that is writing-intensive, requiring extensive formal critical and reflective papers throughout the term. It is a world literature course--with varying readings--that connects students to various community agencies who work with recent immigrants and refugees in the Pittsburgh area. Students are required to work with their assigned community partners for at least 2.5 hours per week
