Catalog description

Among the various forms of inter-religious dialogue, comparative theology is the academic endeavor to engage deeply with another religious tradition in order to enrich and to see anew one's own religious faith. This course will explore recent approaches to comparative theology with particular examples of experiments in learning from non-Christian traditions, such as Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, and Muslim theologians and texts.
