Catalog description

Throughout history, the relationship between faith and reason has often informed the ways in which individuals search for truth and understand the world and their own humanness. We will ask whether it is reasonable to have faith, both in general (without belonging to a religion) and in particular, belonging to a certain community of faith with its own beliefs. We will place special emphasis on the main themes of Christian theology, such as revelation, Trinity, creation, the human person, Jesus the Christ, morality, spirituality, and the Church, based on the Bible and other representative theological texts. This is a Writing Intensive Course.
