The Divine Creator of all that exists is sensed, longed for and responded to in various geographical, cultural, and chronological contexts. The purpose of this course is to help students investigate the nature of religious experience and faith in relationship to the way that human reason intersects with, complements, and provides support for understanding religious faith, specifically within the Judeo-Christian continuum of Faith. Therefore, this course will help students explore the relationship between reason and core components of that divinely revealed Faith, held in common by Christians from apostolic times to our contemporary day. Students will also have an opportunity to examine their own life experiences and aspirations in light of knowledge and insights gained through our course.
