Theological Ethics

Catalog description

An introduction to the central issues of theological ethics, including methodological and practical concerns. The course will focus on the Christian tradition, especially Roman Catholicism, with some attention given to other approaches. Topics include the formulation and formation of moral values, the sources and development of Christian ethics, and examination of selected contemporary moral issues.
