Sociology of the City

Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the patterns, problems and sustainability of cities. We study the relationship between cities and society across history and cultures. The sociological processes and civic actions that impact urban problems and community development are given special emphasis. Students taking this class for graduate credit will complete a community analysis project and paper.
