Catalog description
A discussion and application of the techniques and research procedures used in sociological research. Students learn about different types of research, including both qualitative approaches such as interviewing and observation, as well as quantitative approaches of surveys and existing statistics. Students will apply the skills they learn in class to gain a deeper understanding of the research process.
