Protest and Social Movements explores major movements for racial, gender and economic justice such as the Civil Rights movement, the Black Power movement, Black Lives Matter and the first, second and current waves of the feminist movement. We will also examine conservative and right-wing nationalist movements who oppose demands for social justice.
