Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to examine psychometric principles associated with clinical evaluation, including the concepts of reliability, validity, standardization, and use of norms. Students will also explore interviewing techniques and chart review procedures, formal and informal screening and assessment practices, and be introduced to the basics of clinical decision making and prevention of communication disorders.
