Catalog description

This course will introduce student to clinical audiology and provide information on the anatomy and physiology of the auditory and vestibular system and related pathologies. It will cover type, degree and configuration of hearing loss and resulting auditory, speech and language difficulties. Students will also learn about hearing conservation, hearing screening, hearing assessment and rehabilitative aspects across the lifespans. It will empower students to collaborate with audiologists throughout their careers.
