Sptcialized Topics in Anatomy II

Catalog description

This course will focus on the gross anatomy of a specific joint and the immediate surrounding regions. Dissection will employ a superficial to deep panoramic approach to the described area of the cadaver. To augment the dissection, participants will read pertinent sections of one or more of the required texts. Further, this laboratory course will be guided and enhanced by information garnered from reviewing the scientific and clinical literature related to the respective joint and surrounding regions (anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, surgical interventions, rehabilitation interventions).
