Advanced Topics in Speech Production II

Catalog description

This advanced topic is designed to introduce theories of planning and execution among people with normal and disordered speech production. Targeted readings will address the nature of lexical representations, including word type and tonal structure in the production of speech. The course culminates in the completion of a written project focused on the lexical patterns of fluent and disfluent speech exhibited by speakers of Mandarin.
