Catalog description
This course serves as a continuation of REHS 607 01: Advanced Topics in Speech & Hearing Research I. Its primary objective is to elevate students? comprehension of human verbal and non-verbal communication by examining and investigating various normal and pathological aspects of communication. Advanced research techniques and methodologies, such as perceptual, acoustic, physiological, and/or electrophysiological approaches, will be utilized. Throughout the course, students will continue to develop skills in conducting comprehensive literature reviews, designing and implementing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and performing statistical analyses. Upon completion, students will submit a detailed, professionally-prepared academic report. Pre-requisite: REHS 607 01 Advanced Topics in Speech & Hearing Research I
