Speech Production Disorders

Catalog description

Students will gain a fundamental knowledge of: a) normal and disordered patterns of speech sound development; b) methods of analyzing speech production data, and; c) assessment and treatment of speech sound disorders in children and adults. Students will integrate theoretical constructs of spoken language production to the differential diagnosis and management of speech sound disorders.
