Catalog description
This 3-credit lecture/laboratory course is designed to study the elements of normal human motion. During lecture sessions material pertaining to the specific osteology, myology, arthrology, arthrokinematics, and osteokinematics of specific joints will be presented. Laboratory sessions will involve observations, palpations and discussions of both simple and complex human movements. With the guidance of the course faculty, the course participants will execute lab activities designed to integrate information and fundamental concepts pertinent to human movement.
