Advanced Orthopedics: The Spine and Extremities/Laboratory

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide advanced interventions to complex orthopedic conditions of the spine and extremities. A relevant review of anatomy, kinesiology and assessment techniques will also be instructed for student proficiency. For the 2020-21 academic year, students will be required to submit video footage of their assessment and intervention techniques for grading and instructor feedback. Case study examples will be provided in conjunction with the lesson plan. This course will be offered as an elective to students who meet the academic criterion and practice/plan to practice in an orthopedic setting.
