Fundamentals of Hand Therapy

Catalog description

This course will cover hand and upper extremity evaluation tools and techniques, and therapeutic approaches to treating the most common hand diagnoses. The basics of orthotic fabrication will be taught and practiced. Clinical decision making will be emphasized regarding orthotic design, fabrication, and function. Evidence based practice will be a focus as we review current literature reflective of each diagnosis.
