Catalog description
This 2-semester course will introduce DCHI students to the concepts, terminology, theories, experimental designs, analytical methods, writing formats, and ethical considerations related to rehabilitation research. To supplement classroom learning about research methods, students will critically evaluate basic science and clinical research articles. Students will also write proposals for their own clinical research and receive mentoring and editorial feedback to craft a project that can be implemented in an actual clinical setting.
