Catalog description

This course will serve both the finance and real estate majors. It introduces concepts involving the valuation and financing of real estate investments. The course is organized to walk students through the real estate investment process sequentially. The curriculum includes the characteristics of real estate returns compared to other asset classes, real estate investment opportunities, theories of valuation, pros and cons of financing, and real estate law concepts.
