Research in Political Science

Catalog description

An opportunity for students to engage in political science research by assisting in a faculty member's scholarship. Learning opportunities could include retrieval, organization, and analysis of primary and secondary source materials; production of data summaries, synopses or timelines; citation management; and co-writing, co-authoring or co-presenting of scholarly work. 1-3 credits. No more than 6 credits may be taken over multiple semesters. Permission of instructor required. Please note that this course cannot be counted as a required capstone course for the political science major.
