Medical Terminology for Pre-Health Students

Catalog description

Through guided-discovery and case-based learning formats, this course is designed to promote and evaluate UG-PMHPP students' understanding of medical terminology and abbreviations associated with common conditions of the cardiorespiratory, endocrine, digestive, musculoskeletal, urinary, male and female reproductive, and integumentary systems. Students also are exposed to the terminology associated with neonatology, hearing, and sight.
