Clinical Neurology Laboratory

Catalog description

This lab section, in conjunction with the core clinical neurology course, provides an opportunity for students to practice and apply examination skills of the neuromuscular body system. Students will apply foundational knowledge to patient cases in the selection and practice of interventions for those individuals that have had a cerebral vascular accident, the most common neurological condition. Emphasis will include interventions that incorporate learning practice schedules, feedback and skill acquisition with goals to help patients ultimately achieve the highest potential for functional mobility following a neurological injury.
