Catalog description

This course expands on an array of subject matter on which traditional orthopedic physical therapy is practiced. The course provides a theoretical framework which is intended to facilitate the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction. Subsequent lectures explore commonly used manual and exercise procedures utilized by the orthopedic physical therapy practitioner during the rehabilitation process for the lower quarter. It is the intent of this course to illuminate the link between the theory and practical application of many of these commonly employed physical therapy procedures. The content of this class also serves to complement material presented in the remainder of the orthopedic sequence.
