Internship

Catalog description

Students complete an internship in a physics-infused professional environment, including local technology businesses, nationally funded facilities (national labs, NASA, etc), research experiences at other universities, or international research sites. While the work may be performed in campus, the responsibilities must be determined and monitored by the external organization. The internship must be reviewed and approved by the physics department. Pass/Fail only. Fall, spring and summer.
