Physics for the Life Sciences II

Catalog description

Second of a two-semester algebra-based and problem-oriented introductory physics sequence. Topics normally covered include waves and sound, electricity, magnetism and optics. Time permitting, relativity, atomic and nuclear physics may be included. Meets requirements of the Pre-Medical and Health Professions program. Does not meet requirements of physics or engineering programs. Credit is not allowed for both PHYS 200/202. Three hours. Prerequisite: PHYS 201 with C or better. Offered only spring and summer.
