Catalog description

The skills of communicating with the patient and documenting medical data are explored in the context of the medical history. This course series provides instruction on human anatomy and physical examination techniques of adult, obstetric, geriatric and pediatric patient populations. Students will acquire a knowledge base of normal physical exam findings to allow for recognition of abnormal physical examination findings. Patient assessment and documentation are emphasized.
