Applied Clinical Methods I

Catalog description

This is the first in a two-semester Applied Clinical Methods course series. Students gain a cognitive understanding of indications and contraindications of common medical procedures. Instruction on anatomic landmarks and safe technical performance of medical procedures are emphasized. Appropriate documentation of medical procedures is emphasized. Students are evaluated on their performance of skills via direct observation by program faculty and on their acqusition of knowledge via written examinations. Students must also register for PHYA 410L.
