Catalog description

The course is one of three courses designed to provide the student with a concentration in geriatrics. Major topics include normal aging, drug use in the geriatric population, social and behavioral aspects of aging, functional assessment of the geriatric population with emphasis on the major geriatric syndromes, and selected pharmacotherapy topics.
