Catalog description

Phenomenology has often focused on the cognitive and emotional dimensions of human experience. But embodied experience demands further study, concerning both the depth of its analysis (attained through phenomenological reduction) and the ways it interacts with the emotional and the cognitive. It is strongly recommended that students taking 400-level Philosophy seminars have completed at least two prior Philosophy courses.
