This course examines an array of philosophical issues related to technology. After examining several specific new technologies (artificial intelligence, gene editing, social media, etc.) and the theoretical problems they raise, this course considers wider problems connected with industrialization and the technological society: nihilism, meaning, the future of humanity, etc.
