Global art practices made a strong turn to the conceptual in the 1960s, and much contemporary art is arguably ?post-conceptual? in character. In this class, we will explore recent and contemporary philosophical responses to contemporary art postdating 1960, alongside the artworks themselves. It is strongly recommended that any students enrolling in this class have completed at least two Philosophy courses before it begins.
