Community Engaged Learning: Health Promotion/Disease Prevention and Management

Catalog description

Community Engaged Learning (CEL): Health Promotion/Disease Prevention & Management utilizes a flipped classroom model in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the group space is an interactive learning environment where the instructors will guide students as they apply concepts, engage creatively, and reflect on field experiences. This course will consist of a combination of self-study, self-evaluation and reflection, off-campus field experiences, and meeting sessions. Location of field experiences will vary.
