Catalog description

ABLE I is the first course in a sequence of six longitudinally and horizontally integrated courses that are designed to foster progressive attainment of competency in practice elements of pharmacy. Students will gain confidence and expertise in the delivery of patient care and other key practice functions by providing real and simulated situations that require active engagement in the learning process. Utilizing foundations through courses within the semester, students will apply knowledge, demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrate proficiency in fundamental skills including technical, calculations, and communication skills, and demonstrate professional behaviors in the therapeutic decision-making process.
