Catalog description

Theodor Adorno, a member of the Frankfurt school of critical theory, wrote voluminously on a number of topics, such as music, literature, history, morality, culture, and dialectics. This course provides a survey of his most important works, with particular emphasis on Dialectic of Enlightement, Minimal Moralia, and Negative Dialectics. Some investigation of his writings on music and will also be offered.
