Plato?s dialogues are often divided into early, middle, and late. This course investigates Socrates? conversational style, attitude, philosophical positions (if any), and interactions with various interlocutors in several of his early-period dialogues, which typically includes the Apology, Euthyphro, Crito, Charmides, and Laches. It is strongly recommended that any students enrolling in this class have completed at least two Philosophy courses before it begins.
