Catalog description
This course builds on the foundations established in BRDG 105 introduction to Ethical Reasoning (or other introductory-level ethics courses), critically engaging its theoretical frameworks at a deeper level. The course involves careful readings of classical and contemporary work in ethical theory engaging several of the following theoretical frameworks: of meta-ethics, virtue theory, utilitarianism, deontology, contractarianism, social justice theory, and feminist ethics.
