Catalog description
The objective of this course is to introduce students of the Pharmacy profession to the pathophysiology of four major disease states: cardiovascular and renal disease states, endocrine and reproductive disease states, neurological and psychiatric disease states, and gastrointestinal disease states. Basic mechanisms of action of drugs that alleviate pathologies of these organ systems will be introduced.
