Catalog description
A basic course designed to acquaint the student with the philosophy of law and ethics and the particular laws governing the practice of pharmacy. Federal and Pennsylvania Acts and regulations pertaining to the handling and sale of drugs, narcotics, poisons and alcohol and pharmacy/pharmacist registrations and licensure are discussed. Ethical principles and their relationship to pharmacy practice are also introduced. PHBA 340W is a prerequisite for PHBA 412W.
