Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical and Health Professions Medical Terminology

Catalog description

Through lecture, guided discovery and case-based learning formats, this course is designed to promote the understanding of medical terminology, abbreviations, and the terminology of common conditions of the cardiorespiratory, endocrine, digestive, musculoskeletal, urinary, male and female reproductive, and integumentary systems. Students also will be exposed to the terminology associated with neonatology, as well as hearing and sight. Pre-Requisite: PBPM 501
