Catalog description

Many clinical music therapists supervise pre-professional and professional music therapists. As such, it is important that they understand the potential supervisory issues of these populations and how to guide them through professional growth experiences. Through this course, you will be asked to examine several different models of supervision, each of which make meaning of and guide learning processes from different perspectives. You will also be asked to identify the pre-professional and professional models to which you are drawn and to compare them to the potential effectiveness of other models.
