Catalog description

This course develops clinical music skills through a lab-based exploration of two music methods: clinical improvisation and receptive. Students will learn to engage in clinical repertoire selection through intensive genre-study, as well as develop intermediate clinical improvisation skills on guitar piano, percussion, and voice. Pre-requisites: Guitar for Music Therapy IV (MUTH 534) & Group Piano IV (MUTH 528) or instructor permission.
