Guitar for Music Therapy I

Catalog description

As the first in a series of two introductory clinical guitar skills courses, this course emphasizes first position playing, proper right- and left-hand techniques, visualization, sight reading, basic improvisational tools, introduction to chord voicing and rhythmic studies, basic singing and strumming with the guitar, and an increased awareness of music interpretation. Students will begin to develop a clinical repertoire. LAB. Offered Fall only.
