Clinical Music Skills

Catalog description

This class is offered to music therapy upperclassmen. This class will help bridge the transition between functional music classes and clinical experiences as students learn to integrate, expand, and apply musical skills in a clinical environment. Through the lab component, students will engage in and facilitate spontaneous and improvisatory music making on guitar, keyboard, percussion, and voice. Students will also explore professional skills in preparation for professional roles and relationships.
