Catalog description

As the first in a series of two advanced clinical guitar skills courses, this course introduces students to barre chord forms and their use for transposition. Altered tunings, clinical improvisation, basic guitar maintenance , and vamping while talking to clients will also be covered. Students will continue to build a varied stylistic clinical repertoire. LAB. Offered Fall only. Pre-requisite: Guitar for Music Therapy II (MUTH 202)
