Group Piano IV

Catalog description

This course focuses on late intermediate techniques of piano performance. The sub-categories of functional keyboard skills applied in this project-based course are sight reading, harmonization, technique, repertoire, accompanying, transposition, improvisation, playing solo and ensemble piano repertoire, and playing songs by ear. Prerequisite: B or better in MUTH 257 or Placement Examination.
