Guitar for Music Therapy II

Catalog description

As the second in a series of two introductory clinical guitar skills courses, this course furthers students? mastery of first position playing, proper right- and left-hand techniques, visualization, sight reading, beyond the basics improvisational tools, introduction to chord voicing rhythmic studies, and an increased awareness of music interpretation. Students will continue to build their singing and strumming and clinical repertoire. LAB. Offered Spring only. Pre-requisite: Guitar for Music Therapy I (MUTH 201)
